La Petit Fleur

Could there be anything cuter?

Happy Halloween!

Ok, It got cold here last night.Burrrr.... 33 degrees. I just had to take a few fall pictures. This is Charity's favorite fall outfit. Her Aunt Jane picked it out and got it for her. Her first denim jacket and from the GAP too!

Look at me! I'm standing!

There she is.
Our happy little girl is back and look at those thighs. She only weighs 12 lbs but she is finally getting a couple of those yummy baby fat rolls. Sooner than we think she will be putting those chubby little feet to good use.

YEAH! New Pictures

I don't think she really appreciates the hats. We thought they were cute. especially the one with dots. I'm suprised these pictures turned out so well. Virginia was laughing at her as she took them.

Grumpy sick baby..,.

Sorry, no new pics to post today. I am falling down on the job. We have had a busy and stressful time the last couple of weeks. Amongst other things, Charity has been sick again.... She went back to the doctor last week because she was very grumpy and just generally not feeling very good (just like the last time when she had strep). She still had little nasal congestion which just seems to be the status quo. Trish checked her over and couldn't find anything signs of a problem so she said to try some Dimetap decongestant, and just wait and see and let her know if she got any new symptoms or just got worse. I went back the next day and said she is worse now running a low grade fever. So she put her back on the good ol' amoxacillin. Anyone who raised any kids knows the stuff, it used to be the pink stuff that tasted like bubble gum. I remember getting it when I was a kid. It is orange now and I couldn't tell you what it tastes like but Charity seems to like it. Anyway... After two days she seemed to be improving. Then came the weekend. She was a very grumpy sick baby now with a cough. We called the clinic yesterday after the worst grumpy baby day ever and Trish said to bring her in today for a chest xray. Virginia spent the night last night walking the house with her and neither got much sleep. So I wasn't surprised to find today that she has a little bit of pneumonia. So in one week we went from just grumpy and no real symptoms to pneumonia. Now she is on stronger antibiotics and we are praying for a quick recovery. I miss the happy silly giggly Charity that has been replaced by the grumpy sick version. I am just very grateful she doesn't have to go to daycare. So stay tuned and as soon as she recovers I will have more happy smiley Charity pictures for everyone.
